Golden Beach is located between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale on the Atlantic Coast of Florida. This upscale beach community of approximately 40 oceanfront homes has its own private police department, tennis courts, and playground. Finest shopping, dining, cultural events, major expressways, and international airports are just minutes away.
Another interesting note is that high-rise construction and commercial development are not permitted within the Town limits. The main road through Golden Beach is Collins Avenue, also known as A1A; Golden Beach is one of the few stretches of Collins that does not have sidewalks, and it is also one of the most notorious speed traps in the Miami area. The town has an abnormally large police force for its size, most of which is dedicated to speed control along the main road. The western portion of Golden Beach is closed to the public and accessible only by the invitation of residents.
